Maria took my wife and me on a mushroom walk last Sunday: we had the most wonderful time. Maria was extremely knowledgeable with a "safety first" approach that was much appreciated. Despite it not being the best of seasons for mushrooms, we came back with an abundant and delicious haul. We learnt so much from Maria, who was excellent company and more than generous with her time. We will not hesitate to recommend So Sussex to our friends.

Thank you for such an enjoyable and informative walk last weekend, I was surprised at the variety of mushrooms we found - especially considering the weather lately. I now feel confident that I can go out and identify Slippery Jacks (amongst others)on my own.
BTW, I looked up the difference between mist and fog: visibility greater than 1km = mist less than 1km = fog! Another useful pub quiz fact. Best wishes, Ian

I contacted So Sussex as I wanted to offer the students at our language school some kind of weekend activity that took them out of the city centre. Usually, the most students see of their stay in England is the touristy part of London, Brighton seafront and Churchill square and shops.
Nigel put together a great package of activities in a beautiful part of Sussex accompanied by some fantastic home cooked food. The weather was perfect and every student had a great time. The day flew by too quickly and I am looking forward to booking up another trip sometime soon.

It was very well researched and really great fun for everyone including my 13 year old brother who was on the look out for the best mushroom of the morning. Vi har i våra utvärderingar fått mycket bra på cykelaktiviteten. Många tyckte det var en av de bästa vi haft på företagetJ.
En del tyckte att det var lite för ansträngande men positivt nog så gav de ett högt betyg till aktiviteten ändå.
Nu i efterhand så borde vi nog försökt att göra två grupper. En med många pauser o kortare sträcka och en precis som den var.
Teamaktivitet och fika pausen var mycket trevlig.
Det ni ska ha ett stort plus på var att ni var så många på plats så att allt flöt på trots punkteringar mm. Ett stort plus även för att ni var så positiva och vänligaJ!
Jag kommer att meddela Resia att vi är otroligt nöjda och rekommenderar er varmt till andra grupper!

Translation Thank you for a top activity!!! We have in our feedback forms got "very good" for the cycling activity. Many thought it was one of the best activities we have had at our company. Some thought it was a little too energetic, but they were still positive and gave the activity a very high grade anyway.In hindsight perhaps we should have divided the group into two from the start. One with many stops and a shorter circuit and one just as it was. The team activity and the refreshment break was very good. One of the best things was that there were so many of you which meant that there were no interruptions despite punctures etc. Also you were all so positive and friendly!I will inform Resia that we are exceptionally pleased with you and we would recommend you warmly to other groups! A massive thanks to Nigel for our recent 'learn to fish' trip. Tilika (7) and Jaymin (5) and I had an amazing time! The kids are still boasting about the number (and size!) of the fish they caught a week later. We all learnt loads from Nigel who was patient, informative and bags of fun to be with.
We'll certainly be back and I can highly recommend So Sussex for anyone looking for family activities to do in the area. The whole thing was outstanding from start to finish.

Maria, The two walks you organised and guided for me were the highlight of my trip to Sussex. I wanted to see the countryside (other than from the main road) and the walks through the villages and across the top of the Downs were magnificent. I can't wait to get back and do more. Hi Maria,
I just wanted to you, and indeed, the whole team, a brief email to thank you all so much for a great day and experience on Friday. As a Sales Manager, I’m inundated with brochures and flyers for events companies, but after actually experiencing the SO Sussex Team Challenge, I would recommend this first and foremost!
I think I can say on behalf of everyone there, how enjoyable the day was, and I certainly left with something more of an education, than I had arrived with.
Also, as a Brighton Hotel, from time to time, we like to source local produce, and the information in the pack that we left with will, I’m sure, be invaluable for future reference.
In short, it was a well planned, interesting, well though out, interactive, educational team experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to put it forward to a client looking for a more unique Teambuilding event!

After thinking about what we wanted to do on the day, I discovered So Sussex through Google.
Nigel, thank you so much for making our day fishing trip such a memorable one. We were all very impressed on how organised the day was and how much we learnt. It was great that you were able to give us a tuition before we started the fishing. I would totally recommend this trip if you are looking for a relaxing day with beautiful scenery. If you also want fun and to guarantee a catch then this is the trip. It was very well organised and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Even better that in the competition the girls beat the boys with the biggest catch!!
If there was one thing that could be improved, then that would be to have more of the Swedish chocolate home made cake that was given to us on the day - that was awesome!!

The day was a great success and we both really enjoyed it. We were delighted that we were able to arrange the event with such short notice. Neither of us had great expectation regarding catching a fish so to catch so many and such large fish in such a short time made the afternoon very enjoyable.
It has certainly generated enthusiasm for further fishing ventures so will probably get back to you about another date over the next few months.

We all really enjoyed our time with you on Saturday. It was a lovely way to spend time with the children. Both Owen and Hannah want to fish again! So we will be off to my Dads to raid his attic to see what fishing gear we can salvage!
